DESPERATELY SEEKING SUN

SPRING BREAK

After a raw, cold, and wet winter, we're all in need of bright, happy colors. So, while searching for warm weather inspiration for my family's Spring vacation, I created this cheerful layout with a few pieces of jewelry from my collection. I used a stylish black one piece swimsuit as the jumping off point, obviously. Plunking down on the beach in the winter ... I don't know about you, but I am grabbing a swimsuit and calling it a day.

As you know, I have an extensive background in design. I began my career in fashion, and I use those honed skills everyday to develop and style new pieces. I love to create these layouts to show you how effortlessly my jewelry works in your wardrobe and your life. You can purchase the jewelry featured here by clicking the image, or searching for earrings and/or bracelets in the search bar. The fashion presented is only inspirational; you can use these colors and/or textiles while shopping for your next warm weather adventure!

STYLE TIP : Need help styling your jewelry for an upcoming trip? Looking to add a little something special that works with what you already own? Stop by the gallery and I'll be happy to assist you. Monday & Tuesdays are by appointment; you can bring in your jewelry box and we can discuss what's working and what's not!

My mother didn't pass down any jewelry to me and I never saw the ring she received when my father proposed. I guess it’s not important, since they divorced when I was a toddler. However, since repurposing inherited pieces is one of my favorite design challenges, I am occasionally reminded of what little (in terms of jewelry) I have to remember those that have passed on.
